Hands On Gatlinburg
May 1–31
Love the artistry and craftsmanship that makes the Smoky Mountains so special? Dive right in! Hands On Gatlinburg gives you the chance to roll up your sleeves and create your own pottery, jewelry, soap, and more, under the guidance of local masters throughout Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. It’s an inspiring experience—and you’ll come home with more than just memories. After your workshop, head to The Village and treat yourself to an ice cream cone or shop for friends and family back home!

Blooms & Tunes at Anakeesta
May 1-June 20
Catch the Smokies in full bloom at Anakeesta’s whimsical spring celebration. Wander through vibrant art installations, enjoy live music Thursday–Sunday, and sip on floral-themed cocktails as the sun sets. And when night falls? The mountaintop comes alive with lights at Anakeesta Adventure Park. Pair this with a peaceful morning coffee from The Village before heading up the mountain.
Kerbela Shrine Fun Fest Parade & Marketplace

You don’t want to miss the antics of Kerbela Shriners! Pigeon Forge Parkway & A parade with purpose—join the community along the Pigeon Forge Parkway for a fun, family-friendly event supporting children’s healthcare. Grand National F-100 Ford Show
May 15–17
Ford lovers, rejoice! This massive event at the Pigeon Forge Convention Center showcases classic Ford trucks from 1996 and earlier, along with a huge swap meet full of vintage parts and accessories. Even if you’re not a truck enthusiast, it’s worth the trip just for the craftsmanship on display. If you prefer to avoid the Pigeon Forge traffic, head to Gatlinburg to shop, eat, play and even sit a spell with us!
Bloomin’ BBQ Music & Food Festival
May 16–17
Barbecue, bluegrass, and beautiful Smoky Mountain air—it doesn’t get more Tennessee than this. Celebrate at Sevierville’s beloved festival, complete with live music on three stages, craft vendors, and a BBQ cook-off. Bonus: the Mountain Soul Vocal Competition pays tribute to Dolly herself! Downtown Sevierville.
Gatlinburg Farmers Market
May 17 – October 18, Saturdays
Get a taste of Gatlinburg—literally—at 1222 East Parkway (across from Food City). Gatlinburg Farmers Market offers fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, jams, and handmade wellness products, all in a friendly, open-air setting. Perfect for those staying in a Gatlinburg cabin or condo.
Camp Critter at NOC Gatlinburg

Calling all little adventurers! Camp Critter is a free, family-friendly day of music, treats, and kid-centered fun, with a scavenger hunt, climbing wall, critter coloring station, and more. Swing by The Village Shop afterwards for supper at Boudiccas Celtic Pub. 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
