Fall Home Décor & Cozy Finds

While the summer sun tends to draw everyone outdoors and into the water, it seems fall is the “nesting” season for most of us. We cozy up under our blankets, light the first fire of the season and enjoy football on the big screen. It’s natural that this season turns our attention to the décor of our homes. We find ourselves looking for ways to spruce up our indoor spaces in preparation for the winter season, when we’ll be inside most of the time!

The Village Shops in Gatlinburg has so many options to meet any décor need, but a couple in particular will warm your heart and your home in the chill of the fall.  Your first stop? The Master’s Editions Village Gallery.

As you quietly peruse the stunning art of the 2,000-square-foot gallery, you’ll feel your blood pressure drop. The relaxing images surrounding you will give you a taste of what you’ll feel when one or more of them grace the walls of your home.  The work of Abraham Hunter, Mark Keathley, Rod Chase, Jess Wathen and Robert Finale are meant to inspire peace and joy.

Abraham Hunter, one of the premier artists featured in the gallery and arguably one of the most talented in our nation, blends realism with a gentle touch. He captures the spirit of the animals, people and scenes he renders, evoking emotions you probably forgot you were capable of. So dreamy for any room in the house.  Whether you choose a mountain scene, a rendering of Native Americans, or a mother bear with cub, your new Abraham Hunter picture will bring joy and add both beauty and warmth to your home. The gallery also features Christmas-themed images. From bible scenes to the nativity to nature in all its glory, the Abraham Hunter collection is extensive. His work is colorful and majestic.

Mark Keathley, another of the gallery’s renowned artists, is also well known for his evocative outdoor scenes, and stunning array of subject matter all geared to stir the viewer.  Christian, nature and family themes are found among the beautiful Keathley works on display at The Master’s Editions. His traditional values and heartwarming renderings make home warmer and more comforting in these uncertain times. Your nest will be sweeter with a large image or two from his collection.
